The Run4Safety and Safetyfest 2011 took place on Saturday, October 15, 2011 from 7:00am through 5:00pm. The events drew more than 800 people throughout the day participating in the run, walk, and checking out some of the safety exhibits and farmers market vendors.

Congratulations to James Forbes winning the fastest and Mary Fitzpatrick-Bean winning the fastest female in the 5k event. In addition to a goodie bag filled with treats and limited edition t-shirts, both top finishers took home a prize pack containing a two-night stay here at Welk Resorts, San Diego, a round of golf for two on our Executive Golf Course, and a pair of tickets to our upcoming winter show at Welk Theatre San Diego.
